Welcome to EFAS 2025!

It is a great pleasure to invite you to the 17th Congress of European Federation of Audiology Societies (EFAS) 2025 taking place in Vienna, Austria from May 14 – 17, 2025.

Austria's capital stands out for its state-of-the-art infrastructure, short distances between locations, excellent hospitality, outstanding service quality and safety. Vienna has always been a meeting point for people from all over the world, meaning that diversity and an international outlook are part of its DNA. Our magnificent congress venue, Palace Lower Austria (Palais Niederösterreich), is located in the heart of Vienna, between St. Stephen's Cathedral and City Hall. This historical palace has the best technical equipment and holds the Austrian Ecolabel of Environmental Excellence since November 2018.

During the EFAS Meeting, leading specialists from the field will provide insights into the most important topics related to the audiology. We will discuss the impact of artificial intelligence on audiology and the rapidly growing post-pandemic field of telemedicine technology (i.e. remote fittings of hearing devices). Further topics are hearing implants, new hearing devices, bimodal hearing, precision treatment in audiology and many more.

As to the previous EFAS Meetings, we expect about 400-500 international participants; from young students, through experienced scientific and clinical experts, up to representatives of the industry. We aim to facilitate the optimal surrounding for all participants to present their work, clinical questions and successively provide opportunities for a closer cooperation between clinical experts and the industry. We look forward to welcoming all participants to this exciting meeting in Vienna!

Vienna's vibrant atmosphere, alongside with the chosen meeting topics and the acknowledged experts will guarantee a memorable scientific and social programme.
